Education in Health Sciences

In this course, participants will examine how education and training are delivered in health settings, and about communication theories and concepts as they relate to healthcare environments. Self-assessment and reflection will be important components of this professional learning community, where participants will learn how diversity affects communication and ways to communicate in culturally responsive ways. Participants will have opportunities to demonstrate an understanding of the essential elements of strong interpersonal communication in the health care environment by developing materials and resources that can be used in their teaching content.
